Lineup Builder — No Signup Required

OnTheField just opens. No account, email, or password is required to build a lineup locally in your browser. Click the link and get started.

Open the Lineup Builder

How it works

1

Open the app

Click the link. That's it. No login screen, no loading spinner, no "check your email to verify."

2

Build your lineup

Add players, drag them into position, set your batting order. Auto-assign for fair play or arrange manually.

3

Print or share

Print a clean lineup card in one click, or share a link with your assistant coach. Sharing is optional and sends the lineup through the selected sharing method.

Your lineup starts on your device

Lineups are saved locally in your browser by default. You decide whether to share one or sign in for account-backed sync.

No account required

You can build without an account or email. Usage analytics still help us understand how the product is used.

Frequently asked questions

What does “no signup” actually mean here?

No account, no email, no password. You land on the builder and start. Your lineup stays in this browser unless you choose to share it or sign in to sync across devices.

Where is my lineup saved, then?

Locally in your browser (localStorage). It persists across reloads on the same device and browser until you clear that data.

Can I access my lineups on another device without an account?

Not without syncing. Cross-device sync requires an account; the anonymous, no-signup tier is single-device by design.

Is my data private if it is not uploaded?

Your lineup is stored locally by default, but the product still collects limited usage analytics. Sharing a lineup or signing in to sync sends the related data to a server.
